I read this story from the magazine, and what is so unique and amazing about this short piece by Foer is the precision and wording. "She can see her breath in the room of her future." Amazing! Reminded me of an Uscher drawing with all its winding lines and dimensions -- only in story form and through literature, do we find those elements, dimensions through two characters involved.
